Toronto, November 25th The Yolo Foundation proudly joins the global community in observing the annual “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence,” a critical international campaign that kicks off on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and extends until December 10, Human Rights Day. This year’s theme, “Unite, Invest to prevent violence against women and girls,” serves as a rallying call for collective action against the pervasive issue of gender-based violence.
The Yolo Foundation is dedicated to fostering a world where everyone, regardless of gender, can live free from fear, violence, and discrimination. The 16 Days of Activism provide a crucial opportunity to raise awareness, spark conversations, and advocate for meaningful change in policies and attitudes surrounding gender-based violence.
